Terms and Conditions for Consignment Resale of Irish Dancing Costumes and Accessories

1. Consignment Agreement: By consigning your costume and/or accessories with Echappé Ballet and Dance Boutique, you agree to the terms outlined in this agreement.

2. Consignment Period: The consignment period will be a maximum of 6 months, unless otherwise specified.

3. Commission Fee: Echappé Ballet and Dance Boutique will charge a commission fee of up to 20% of the confirmed selling price for each item. This fee covers our services in marketing and facilitating the sale of your costume.

4. Pricing: Pricing for each costume and/or accessory will be determined jointly between the consignor and Echappé Ballet and Dance Boutique. Final decision rests with the consignor.

5. Advertising and Promotions: Echappé Ballet and Dance Boutique will take care of all advertising and promotion efforts on our social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram.

6. Communication with Buyers: We will handle all communications with potential buyers, including inquiries, negotiations, and finalising sales. Consignors will be kept informed throughout the process.

7. Physical Showcase: Your costume and/or accessory will be showcased in our store during the consignment period. This provides potential buyers with the opportunity to view the item in person, further enhancing its visibility and appeal.

8. Condition of Items: Consignors are responsible for ensuring that all costumes and accessories are in excellent condition before consignment. Any damage or wear must be disclosed prior to agreement.

9. Payment: Payment for sold items will be made to the consignor within 5 working days of sale. Echappé Ballet and Dance Boutique will deduct the commission fee, not exceeding 20% from the sale proceeds before remitting payment to the consignor.

10. Termination of Agreement: Either party may terminate this agreement within 5 business days’ notice in writing. Upon termination, any unsold items must be retrieved by the consignor.

11. Liability: Echappé Ballet and Dance Boutique will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of consigned items. However, we cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to consigned items beyond our control.
